Farewell to Friends
We bid farewell to our friends and fellow US expats, James and Elise. Elise is a physician from
Phoenix and she and James came to New Zealand for a year stint as well. They arrived in
Hawera about a month before us and we've had the pleasure of getting to know them over
the year.
James and I went for a flight in the club's 172 around the mountain and he took some
great shots. It was a beautiful day and we got to see Mt Taranaki with his head
sticking out of the clouds.
Elise finished her year in early September and we met at the water tower for a final
photo. Good luck James and Elise!
