I'm going to try and get everybody caught up on what we've been up to since our South Island
trip. I expect it will be a whirlwind tour, so hang on.
At the end of March we took a Sunday afternoon and drove north on State Highway 3 to
Inglewood. Inglewood was home to the Fun Ho! toy factory for the better part of the
20th century. They made toy cars, trucks, and farm equipment for little Kiwis.

What I found interesting was the 'resolution' of the early vs late toys. The early
toys were made with lead using sand as a casting medium. Later toys were die cast
aluminum. It was also amusing that some early molds were knock offs of toys made in the
US.
